If you use Outlook Express and are experiencing the error "Address Book failed to load, Outlook Express is incorrectly configured, please re-install", it is most likely a problem with a Microsoft security update installed by Windows Update around 4/16. Uninstalling updates kb911567 and kb908531 resolve the problem. Note that four updates were installed at the same time, kb911567, kb911562, kb912812, and kb908531, and all of them may not work properly if one is uninstalled, so uninstall all four. To uninstall the updates:
The updates will re-install with Windows Update again so check your settings for Windows Update in Control Panel, set it to an option that allows you to choose what to install, not install automatically.
